agreed. Just spent an hour of my life dealing with their rediculous ‘remove who is’ procedure…you cant do it from within your acct…have to do an outside vendor.

then, after I got that situated, it tagged a 60 day wait period for the transfer of the domian. Those Fuc*ers tried to tell me it was an icann policy. I called bull$hit on that, and they backed down and removed it.

Wow, thanks for the help. Now I have to stop them from trying to collect a debt I didn’t authorize. They sent me to collections for less than 30 bucks and now I’m spending more time writing letters than I care to. I could probably just pay the money but now I’m p@#$%%^ed. I’ll put more money toward stopping them and spreading the word.

Without question, Godaddy has the single most convoluted and horrible interface of any website I’ve ever used in my life.

It’s definitely tempting to think that it’s intentionally obtuse, since a lot of people would probably rather pay a few dollars than have to deal with all that crap. Though I think it would almost take a genius to create such a complicated bird’s nest consciously and on purpose. More likely, I think it’s just a combination of design being done by programmers rather than designers, miscommunication between many disparate parts of the team, and a seriously unbridled case of feature-creep.

I’m currently in the process of getting godaddy out of my life for good. Not easy – but this post has helped. Thanks!

Thanks for the helpful instructions! GoDaddy changed their UI a little, so some things are not in the same place or have different titles. You might want to update the post accordingly.
